It didn't look too bad at first glance. It's 40 years old so no surprises, right? But the deeper you dig...

Engine bay - nothing sticking out really. Car has 64k km on it, so besides being rust bucket it's not terribly worn.

Ok, ain't nothing to it but do it. Let's get started. It drove on its own to the garage where it will be restored.

And that's how it looks like when you poke it in few places: floor rusted out and 'fixed' with body filler, rust patches smeared with body filler, rust covered with bitumen underseal and 'repair' patches welded on rust and covered with body filler.

Obligatory nest in engine bay. Not mouse/rat nest though.
