Engine Restoration and rebuild

All parst after initial inspection were cleaned in parts washer, deep cleaned either manually or in media blaster cabinet, then washed with high pressure water washer and in ultrasonic cleaner. Cast iron parts were covered with WD40 until I was ready to paint them. After degreasing and masking all ground/mating surfaces engine parts were painted with VHT 'Ford blue'. Which is not correct color for that yearmodel of that engine (it was suppose to be black), but first of all I like it better and most importantly you can see oil/coolant leaks on it better. So Ford Blue it is.

Heads were machined only at 0.10mm to make them nice and flat. Look how happy they are:
